Cam W Price

At 27 year old Cam Price from North Canterbury, on the South Island of New Zealand is a fresh faced and enthusiastic member of the UK Mitavite Crew.
With a long history of all things horses Cam can firmly say that his experience, passion, business interests and family are all well entwined with the equine world.

With his mother Raewyn Price introducing Cam to Pony Club at the young age of 6, he worked his way up through the levels to compete at 2 star level (Horse Trials) in his mid-teens. He then turned his hand towards breaking in young stock before taking to the New Zealand thoroughbred industry. Working as stable foreman and farm manager in Cambridge (NZ), Cam quickly became enthralled by the buoyant and exciting world of racing, this passion remains today with Cam having interests in commercial breeding/racing bloodstock.

The Mitavite range of horse feeds and supplements is a natural extension of Cams life, his father Colin Price, pioneered the introduction of the ground breaking range to the South Island market in the mid-late nineties. Duly, when the opportunity came up for Cam to apply to supersede Colin as the South Island manager in 2003, he grabbed it with both hands. Cam currently operates in this role as well as taking on new challenges such as Mitavites introduction to the UK market.

Worthy of mention is Cam’s two older brothers; Oldest Brad is an established farrier and self confessed cowboy who lives in NZ and Tim, who is one of New Zealand’s leading event riders. Tim is based in the UK (Marlborough, Wilts) and is quickly becoming known as an up and coming star of the international horse trials scene. Andreas and Jannah Nienaber became the official Mitavite agents for Germany, Holland & Belgium in 2009

Andreas developed his passion for horses at an early age. As a junior rider he was already successful in eventing and jumping up to S levels and even then decided to make the horse business his career. He achieved his certificate in horsemanship at the world renowned stable Zuchthof Klatte and trained a further 2 years with the Olympic champion Alwin Schockmöhle.
Following his official studies, Andreas set up his own training and sales stables near Cloppenburg, Germany.

Jannah, born in Australia, daughter of a master farrier grew up going to pony club, shows and doing some endurance. In 1995 she was given the opportunity to go to Germany for a year to learn riding from the best and jumped at the chance. After falling in love with the horses, the country and then later Andreas she decided to remain in Germany and works together with Andreas as well as at an equine vet clinic.

It was due to one of those coincidental encounters that Jannah was put in contact with Mitavite-Asia boss and developer of the Vitamite Rice-extract products, Rod Shepherd.
It was quickly realised that the Mitavite products combined with Andreas’ contacts showed a lot of potential to come out as a strong competitor on the German, Dutch and Belgium markets.

Nina Hammarström

Nina is the assistant manager of Mitavite Sweden and is working side by side with Cameron Beattie. She has a background in international level equestrian show jumping in Europe and is still competing and trading show jumpers. Nina has lived a total of five years in Sydney, Australia, and graduated with a Master of International Business from Sydney University in 2006. Parallel to her studies at university, Nina also took the Cert 1,2,3 and 4 Personal Trainer education at FIA and worked as a personal trainer at Bondi Icebergs, Bondi Beach, Australia for one year before moving back to Sweden in 2007 to become part of the Mitavite Crew.
