Announcing a new title sponsor, growth in prize fund and the restructure
 of theVitamite Cool Performer BSJA 6 year old National Championships

The BSJA are pleased to announce a new sponsor to British Show Jumping in Mitavite 2ho were also the Official Feed Supplier at the World Cup Show Jumping Final in Kuala Lumpar.

It was at this event that many International Show Jumpers were introduced to Mitavite’s range of complete high energy, rice based feeds.  Among them was Michael Whitaker who found that Suncal Portofino quickly adapted with extremely positive results to the change in her diet.  This led to a meeting with Mitavite directly and to a commitment by Mitavite to export it’s feed to Michael in the UK.

In 2008 Mitavite’s flagship feed Vitamite Cool Performer, a unique rice based hypoallergenic gluten free feed was presented with an Innovation Award at BETA in the Feed and Supplements section.  This is a highly sort after prize and one that clearly signals the start of an exciting time for Mitavite products in the UK and Europe.

As part of their commitment to British Show Jumping, Mitavite have committed to sponsoring the re-formatted National Six Year Old Championships.  A championship that they feel aligns closely with their own objectives – the core ones of which are ensuring that horses are allowed to develop in the best possible way to ensure their longevity in terms of peak performance and fitness.

The Vitamite BSJA National Six Year Old Championships will run across four direct qualifiers for the final to be held at the BSJA/Scope Festival of show Jumping in August 2008. 

The Final will see three days of Show Jumping allowing horses to be assessed properly across a number of days with a view to potential Equine Pathway horses being identified for selection.  A prize fund of £1,500 will be awarded to the two preliminary classes and a prize fund of £6,000 for the third and final class making a total prize fund of £9,000 available at the Final.

The four qualifying events are scheduled at:

Arena UK                   4th May
Towerlands               16/17th May (qualifier on 17th)
Vicarage Farm           24/25th June
Wales & West            1/3 July (qualifier on 2nd)
